Continuing the stand out line up of the previous party, Throwing Snow, Paul White and Circle Traps have all been confirmed for live performances at this years Halloween special.
Having received critical support from publications such as Pitchfork, The Guardian, Clash, Dazed and more, Throwing Snow is building a name for himself as a unique and prolific artist, and producer. Incorporating and taking influence from a range of genres, Throwing Snow creates an intriguing blend of dubstep, UK funky, house and post rock, within his music, which resonates with audiences.
Performing live along side Throwing Snow, are East London’s electronic trio, Circle Traps. Stepping out of the expected, Circle Traps draw on their skills as live performers to play shows of standards that are rarely seen in electronic music.
As well as Throwing Snow and Circle traps, an artist that has already won over world renowned DJ’s such as Diplo, Mary Anne Hobbs, Giles Peterson and Benji B, Paul White will be performing live. A hip-hop producer that doesn’t like to stick to the conventions of the genre, he combines and samples the likes of prog, psychedelic rock, reggae and anything else that he likes the sound of.
Joining these three outstanding artists at ASTRX will be a range of incredibly talented DJ’s, who are pioneering the local underground dance scene.
Hosted once a month at The Oobleck, in the custard factory, ASTRX is the perfect combination of interesting live performances, playing innovative beats in an intimate setting.
